freelance- ●myrain was manually updating ~1,000 shopify product prices every week from their supplier's excel file. i built a python tool that handles the whole thing automatically - logs into the siteone canada portal, downloads the latest price list, figures out which prices actually changed, and updates only those in shopify. runs every monday on github actions at $0/month.
- ●built with playwright to handle the browser login and file download, openpyxl to read the excel rows, and shopify's graphql api to fetch current prices and push the changes. after every run it writes a report showing how many products were checked, updated, skipped, and whether anything failed - saved as a github artifact so there's a record of every sync.
